Meet Kit

Kit was born in Germany and has lived in Ohio, Indiana, Arkansas, Kentucky, Texas, Colorado and now Tennessee. No, she's not a gypsy, she has actually called Tennessee home for 27 years.

Kit's past professional experiences include office management, credit management, and a stent as a trans-atlantic flight attendant. As SCADC Project Coordinator, she manages the various functions of the office and leads the coalition's underage drinking prevention strategies.

Kit attended Western Kentucky University and is still involved with her college sorority, Chi Omega. She is also a dedicated member of the local Foster Care Review Board in Sumner County. Kit has served as a Gallatin Chamber of Commerce Ambassador and is currently the Region 5 North representative for the Tennessee Prevention Advisory Council.

In 2010, Kit became a volunteer for Sumner County CASA (Court-Appointed Special Advocates) where she learned about the Coalition and gained a passion for prevention.

Kit has been married 32 years to her husband Mike and has one son, James, who is a student at MTSU studying Construction Management. Kit also has two cats: Smoke and Chynna. Kit loves antiques, baking, decorating, taking pictures and vacationing on the lovely Alabama coast!
